Q: What type of payments does Custom Stone accept?

A: We accept Cash, Check, and Major Credit Cards.

Q: Do I need to put a deposit?

A: Yes, 50% of payment is due before we begin your project.

Q: When will the other 50% be due?

A: The date of installment.


Q: How do I clean my stone?

A: Warm soap water works fine, but you can buy special stone cleaner.

A:  Of course we can. However, additional charges will ably

Q: Is installation Included?

A: When quoted a price it includes HAND fabrication and installation.

Q: How long will it take?

A: Turn around time generally takes 3 to 9 days depending on how  large the project is. 

Q:How much is an estimate?

A: Free! You are at no obligation to use our services once you receive it. But if you do, we come to you for all things related to your project. 

Q: Can I bring my own material?

A: Yes,. If you provide your own material, we can fabricate  and install for you.. 

Q: Does Custom Stone sell granite?

A: Yes, we have over 300+ slabs onsite on any given day.

Q: Can Custom Stone special order granite for me?

A:  Absolutely. We work with many wholesalers in the area. You can go to any of them and we can purchase the material for you.  

Q: How much will edging cost?

A: Most of the edgings are complimentary

Q: I have a undermount sink will that cost extra?

A: No, with us all undermount sink installation are FREE!

Q: What are major differences with Granite, Quartz, and Marble?

A: Marble is porous, and more lilkley to chip if something is dropped on it. Perfect for bathrooms. Granite is stable and heat resistant to a certain point, and unlikely to stain. Perfect for kitchens. Quartz is a man made material. Its created with resign  and stone. If subjected to long periods of sun, it will change colors. It is the least heat resistant of the stones, but is less likely to be damaged. Quartzite is a natural accuring stone. It is heat resistant, stain resistant, and chip resistant. 

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes! We are currently covered by marina ( USL& H), Workers Comp, and General Liability.  If there is a special kind of coverage that is required for your job, we might pick it up.
