Here are five things worth knowing before you start shopping.
1. Bring Photos of Your Space

Cabinet color, flooring, backsplash, wall color, hardware, lighting, and even nearby furniture can affect how a surface looks in your home.
Bring photos of the room you're working on. If you have cabinet, flooring, tile, paint, or hardware samples, bring those too.
